Mike Chambers is an entrepreneur, creative producer, and former professional mountain athlete. He is currently the CEO of Smashd, where he has built one of the most-awarded non-alcoholic beverage brands in its category. Mike also leads Bang Bang Media, a creative ad agency known for producing viral campaigns for consumer brands like GoPuff, Athletic Brewing Company, and DoorDash.
Previously, Mike co-founded Moonbeam, a podcast discovery platform that was acquired by Audacy, and served as GM at TuneIn, where he contributed to the transformation of its mobile platform. His creative work also includes the creation, production, and sale of Beat Monday, a hit outdoor adventure series.
As a former professional mountain athlete, Mike has led high-altitude expeditions worldwide, including two on Mount Everest, and regularly competes in ultra-endurance events.
Mike’s entrepreneurial work extends to education and social impact. He co-founded Summits Education, Haiti’s second-largest private school network, serving over 10,000 students in the Central Plateau, and he has been deeply involved in shaping the vision and mission of Flying Kites, a school and teacher training center in Kenya founded by his wife., Leila.
